Is Intimates by Elizabeth the Right Engagement & Wedding Photographer For Me?
Elizabeth got married in 2017 (on Halloween!), to her high school sweetheart. It was a wonderful moment but sadly, she just was not in a position to hire a professional photographer at that time. Elizabeth had just graduated college and her husband was in his last semester at college, they were soon to be parents (their little boy was a complete surprise and due in 6 months), and they were in their very early 20s, just scraping by, living on love!
Elizabeth saw how life changing it was not having professional photos of her wedding. It was actually something that devastated her… If you ask her, she’ll tell you that she wishes she would have asked for help paying for a photographer or that she would have taken out a small loan in order to have had professional, high quality wedding photos to hold on to. So, when she started her business, Pictured by Elizabeth Grace in 2020, she sat down to figure out what should be the most important thing she should offer her clients… She decided it should be high-quality photography, photos, keepsakes and heirlooms.
Elizabeth arrived at this conclusion by way of a moment of nostalgia, tainted by sadness and regret, looking back at the few photos she had of her cute little wedding, the idea popped into her head, and a dream grew in her heart. That is the moment when Elizabeth set out to help everyday couples document their love! Elizabeth set out with the intention to bring high-quality photography, photos, keepsakes and heirlooms to her clients to ensure that no one else had to feel that longing, sadness, and regret of not hiring a professional photographer to capture the magic of the small moments on the biggest and best day of their lives.

I have been a professional photographer since 2011 and I truly believe that boudoir is for everyone, regardless of age, size or shape. Giving boudoir photos as a gift is really fun, but this experience is really for YOU.

Everyone is nervous! It is normal! You will have a great time though, and when you see your gorgeous images, and amazing keepsakes, it will totally be worth it!

The majority of our Engagement Photo Sessions take place in gorgeous, picturesque natural spaces like state parks! If the great outdoors is not your thing or if the weather is misbehaving, I have multiple indoor locations options to choose from so your photos are unique to you. The location fee for your Engagement Photo Session is covered under the Wedding Date Retainer Fee. Hair and makeup for your Engagement Session will be at our go to hair stylist’s & makeup artist’s salon/ spa and is also covered under the Wedding Date Retainer Fee.

No, they don’t. I have 5 fabulous hair and makeup artists that I work with regularly, and quite a few other amazingly talented people on stand-by! They are all amazing and all of them are licensed in their fields. Hair and makeup for your Engagement Session is included in the Wedding Date Retainer Fee.

About my family:
I am 29 and travel as much as I possibly can, that’s why I decided to be a traveling photographer! I always have my camera with me whenever I travel anyways so why not?!
My husband and I have been married for 7 years. He is my high school sweetheart and we have been together for 13 years total. He’s my very best friend in the whole world!
Then along came our “Little Bear”. Our son was born in the spring of 2018 and he is our pride and joy, and the reason I started Intimates by Elizabeth; to make sure that it was possible to give my son everything he needs for a great start in life.
About me:
I was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan near Marquette. The “U.P.” is my home and where my heart is. I miss the area dearly and have a tattoo of both Lake Superior and the U.P. on my forearms.
My photography journey began when I was 3 years old and stole my mother’s disposable camera to take a photo of my grandfather. The camera was the kind that still used film! After all, that was 1997.
By the time I made it to my senior year in high school, I was a snap-happy kid who was always hunting for that perfect moment to capture with my camera. In my college years, I studied Photography at Northern Michigan University and graduated in 2017, with a Bachelor of Science.
I have been taking portraits and landscape images since 2011 and over the years, I’ve found that my specialties lay in photographing Boudoir, Couples, and Weddings.
